PAK vs SA: Quinton de Kock and Hasan Ali fight during 1st Test – WATCH

Quinton de Kock is generally known for his calm demeanor behind the stumps. However, during the PAK vs SA Test match, the Proteas wicket-keeper was seen having a fight with Pakistan bowler Hasan Ali.

South Africa rattled Pakistan’s top-order on day one by claiming four quick wickets. However, the Pakistani middle order fought back and not only reached South Africa’s first-innings total but also earned a lead.

As the lead started swelling, South African fielders started to get a bit frustrated and there was a lot of banter going on in the middle. And then Hasan Ali got bowled off Keshav Maharaj but the umpire called it a no-ball.

This reprieve for Hasan Ali frustrated the South Africans more and a few words were exchanged. The Pakistani cricketer wasn’t impressed by de Kock’s comments and responded to him. Soon the argument between Ali and de Kock escalated and the umpires had to intervene. The play was halted for a while and the umpires had a discussion with Ali.

Hasan Ali has the last laugh  

Hasan Ali failed to make the most of the reprieve and was castled by K Rabada for 21 runs. Pakistan earned a massive lead of 158 runs and then routed South Africa for just 245 runs in the second innings.

Skipper de Kock failed to make an impact in the second innings and was out for just 2 runs. Ali, meanwhile managed to claim one wicket in the second innings.

Pakistan chased the target in 23 overs and lost only 3 wickets.
