Naseem Shah PAK vs NZ: In a massive breaking news development, Pakistan are not playing their premier fast bowler Naseem Shah in the third and final ODI match being played at the National Stadium in Karachi. Pakistan ended up conceding a poor 79-run defeat at the hands of the visiting New Zealand team in the second ODI encounter. The three-match ODI series currently stands levelled with a 1-1 scoreline and things will be decided in this crucial series deciding game.
PAK vs NZ: Why is Naseem Shah Not Playing Today’s Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd ODI?Â
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Pakistan captain Babar Azam gave the big news that their in-form pace bowler Naseem Shah is not part of the playing XI in this last game against New Zealand. During the first ODI against the Kiwi side, the right-arm fast bowler picked up a brilliant five-wicket haul to rattle the visitors and was also named the Man of the Match. Naseem also took as many as three wickets in the second ODI match. However, Babar did not reveal any particular reason for the pacer’s exclusion from the side, he might have been rested to manage his workload. Hosts Pakistan have included speedster Mohammad Hasnain in the side for this final game against New Zealand.
For those who are asking why Naseem Shah is dropped? He's been rested not dropped because he just recovered from injury & also played Tests who went all the way & was playing white ball consistently so he was due to rest. He's 8 wkts in this series at AVG of 14 #PakvsNZ #PAKvNZ pic.twitter.com/3hYUtSLTAs
