NZ vs ENG 2nd Test: After Trent Boult, New Zealand copped another major blow ahead of the second test against England in Hamilton. New Zealand Cricket confirmed in a statement that Colin de Grandhomme suffered abdominal muscle injury in the first test in Mount Maunganui, to rule him out of the Hamilton Test.
NZC Statement on Grandhomme
“Colin de Grandhomme has a tear to his left lower abdominal muscle, sustained during the second fielding innings in the first test win over England at Bay Oval.”
All-rounder Daryl Mitchell drafted in
All-rounder Daryl Mitchell has been added to Blackcaps Test squad for the first time. Earlier, fast bowler Lockie Ferguson joined NZ squad as the replacement for Trent Boult.
