NZ vs ENG 1st Test: After thrilling contests in the limited-over format, New Zealand and England are set to square off in red-ball cricket. The first of the two-match Test series starts at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on 21 November.
Lockie Ferguson misses out
Lockie Ferguson is not part of the announced XI for New Zealand and has been released for domestic cricket. Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Neil Wagner will form the bowling attack for the hosts, with Mitchell Santner and Colin de Grandhomme being the other two bowling options.

Dom Sibley to debut for England
England captain Joe Root has announced XI on the Test match eve. Dom Sibley will partner Rory Burns at the top of the batting order. Ollie Pope will also return to the fold in the middle order. One of the surprises in the ENG lineup is the selection is Sam Curran who has been picked above Chris Woakes.
