NZ vs AUS : Aussie skipper Aaron Finch, who failed to lure the IPL franchises in the recent mini-auction, smashed four sixes off Kyle Jamieson in the ongoing 4th T20I between Australia and New Zealand at Westpac Stadium in Wellington today.

Australia’s limited over captain Aaron Finch responded to his critics in style with his devastating batting against New Zealand. Opting to bat first in the 4th T20I against New Zealand, Finch played a captain’s knock and returned unbeaten on 79 off 55 deliveries helping his team post a challenging total of 156/6 on a dual-paced surface.

He smashed 5 fours and 4 sixes in his stormy 79 runs innings and helped his team post a decent total of 156/6 in the end. Finch struggled for most of the innings on a sticky two-paced track, but the last over hammering from him has given Australia something to bowl at.

Finch becomes first Aussie to hit 100 Sixes in T20Is
As Finch’s carnage helped Australia post a respectable total, he also became the first Australian to hit 100 Sixes in T20Is in the process. Finch has now hit 103 sixes in 70 innings, followed by Glenn Maxwell (93) and David Warner (89).

The Aussie captain also became the leading run-scorer in Men’s T20 Internationals for Australia. He surpassed his opening partner David Warner to achieve this fear and has now scored 2,310 runs in 70 innings including two hundred and 14 fifties.

In response to Australia’s 156/6, the Kiwis have bundled out for 106 in 18.5 overs handing Australia 50 runs win in the 4th T20I. The 5-match T20I series now rests at 2-2 with the series decider to be played on Sunday at the same venue.
