Watch: ‘Number 7’ song dedicated to MS Dhoni by DJ Bravo on former captain’s 39th birthday

The 7^th of July is probably the most celebrated date among cricket fans around the world. Wonder why? This day happens to be the birthday of the former Indian captain and probably one of the most decorated captains to have ever played this beautiful game, MS Dhoni. To celebrate this occasion, MS Dhoni’s great friend and CSK teammate DJ Bravo have come up with a catchy song named ‘Number 7’.

The helicopter has taken off

The champion, DJ Bravo considers his CSK captain as his brother. He fondly calls the Indian veteran as ‘The brother from another mother’. To celebrate his big day, Bravo has come up with a catchy song. The song provides an emotional rollercoaster ride through MSD’s career and is a special dedication to all his fans around the world. It was released through his social media accounts as soon as the clock ticked the 12 O’clock mark.

Much like all of his previous songs, this one too has some eye-catching dance moves. This time he has decided to name his iconic dance step in the song by the name ‘Helicopter Dance’ as a tribute to MSD’s trademark shot ‘The Helicopter shot’. People from all walks of life, and belonging to all age groups took part in the Helicopter Dance challenge that Bravo posted in his Instagram account.

DJ Bravo, CSK pays their tribute to MS Dhoni

DJ Bravo on various occasions, has shared that he holds a great deal of admiration for MS Dhoni and even credits most of his success as a cricketer to the Ranchi born legend. He revealed that this song was in his mind for so many months, but waited for the right occasion to release it.

“I want to do something for him. He is coming to the end of his career. He had a great career. Dhoni had a great impact on my personal career and also so many other cricketers. I wanted to do something special for him. I named the song No. 7. It’s his number. It’s a special number for him.” said Bravo in an interview with Cricbuzz.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings, which happens to be the IPL franchise of both these legends have also shared the song on Twitter with the caption:
