Nagpur pitch report: As the first India vs Australia Test match in Nagpur approaches, discussions about the pitch for the game have gained attention. Expectations were for the pitch to be favorable for spin bowlers, as is often the case in Test cricket, but the way the pitch curators prepared it has raised questions. On the day before the match, they only rolled the center of the wicket after watering it and added extra water near the left-hander’s leg stump. This move has confused the Australian team and media and has received criticism from former cricketers.
Nagpur pitch report
Australian media house and former Australian cricketers have already started to criticize the Nagpur pitch curators. Former Aussie pacer Jason Gillespie has said, “I think the Indian curators are looking at a way for India to have an advantage. They potentially think spin will play a huge role and that for the best chance to beat Australia will be to play to their strength. Here in Australia, curators are under instructions to produce the best possible pitch they can prepare, that’s Australia wide.”
One of the noted Australian journalist Robert Craddock has went on to term the picth ‘doctored.’ He said, “Australia has six left-handers in their top eight, so if you start multi-preparing parts of the deck that’s straight-up pitch doctoring, it’s poor. 90 per cent of me feels frustrated about it, but the other 10 per cent is it’s a narrative for the series, it’s just building up beautifully, isn’t it? It’s a bit of old-fashioned hijinks, Test cricket needs these plots and the drama side of me enjoys it.”

Keep crying, our team doesn't start crying even before the start of the match in Australia, but wins the series there by dealing with difficult situations. Whereas you people who start crying after seeing the pitch even before the start of the match. You get different pitches
