Deepak Chahar had a great time in the match against Punjab Kings as he claimed four wickets for just 13 runs. The Chennai Super Kings pacer was on fire with the new ball and sent back Punjab’s best batsmen in the powerplays itself. However, even such a supreme performance couldn’t prevent him from getting trolled by skipper MS Dhoni. The CSK skipper not only denied to take a review when Chahar appealed furiously for a LBW, but Dhoni also asked the bowler to go and continue bowling.

The Chennai pace bowler was spitting venom with the new ball as he found swing and assistance from the Mumbai pitch. Chahar castled Mayank Agarwal in the first over and then dismissed the dangerous Chris Gayle in his third over.

One ball later, he bounced out Nicholas Pooran. With three wickets in three overs, the pace bowler was at the peak of his confidence. On the very next ball after dismissing Pooran, Chahar got to beat Shahrukh Khan with an inswinger.
The ball hit Khan’s back pad and Chahar appealed for a leg-before wicket. The umpire turned the appeal down but Chahar was high on confidence and pleaded Dhonit to take a review.
Dhoni had a clear view of the ball from standing behind the stumps and he too realized the height was the issue. So he refused to take the review. However, sensing the pace bowler’s excitement, Dhoni literally asked him to go and continue bowling.
