MS Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the most-fittest players in world cricket. But since the last few days, many questions were asked regarding his fitness. He was seen struggling to get bat on the ball, and we even so him completely drained out while chasing in the last match against SRH. But for the relief of all his billion fans, the man has got back to his absolute best. He showcased his never-dying fitness with a highly acrobatic catch in the recently concluded KKR vs CSK match.
MS Dhoni takes an absolute stunner
The incident happened in the 21st match of IPL 2020. KKR captain Dinesh Karthik who won the toss decided to bat first and they got off to a terrific start courtesy of an outstanding innings from Rahul Tripathi. He scored 81 of 51 balls to take KKR to a comfortable total. But apart from him none of the other KKR batsmen showed character and were dismissed quite early on in their innings. KKR started to accelerate in the last few overs but failed in execution. During the last few balls of the innings, CSK captain and wicketkeeper MS Dhoni in his usual style removed one glove in-order to prepare himself for a possible run-out opportunity against the KKR tailender batsmen. But contrary to his plan KKR lower middle-order batsman Shivam Mavi got an outside edge of Bravo’s second last ball of the last over. The ball flew off the outside edge to the keeper’s position. MSD who was with just one glove tried to get a hand on it, but it bounced off his un-gloved hand. But Dhoni being Dhoni, leaped towards his right in the full stretch and managed to get hold of that catch, thereby once again showcasing his fitness and athleticism to the entire world.

CSK falls behind in chase, KKR wins the match
Chasing a moderate total of 168 set by KKR, CSK got off to a great start courtesy of a fine partnership from Watson and Rayudu. At halfway through the innings, they looked like sure-shot winners of this match. But captain DK had other plans, he held back Narine for the last overs. And with him, KKR tackled the MS Dhoni and Sam Curran challenge. Narine also helped in removing a well set Watson. And in the process, CSK fell short of 10 runs and succumbed themselves towards the fourth loss of this season.
