Buttler notched up his second century of IPL 2022 and third hundred in the history of the T20 tournament. He also scored an outstanding earlier in the ongoing T20 competition during the game against Mumbai Indians.

Jos Buttler now has the joint third most number of IPL hundreds by an overseas player with as many as three centuries being tied with AB de Villiers. Chris Gayle holds the all-time record of hitting a total of 6 IPL hundreds while both David Warner and Shane Watson have notched up 4 tons each.

Even after losing the toss and being asked to bat first, the Rajasthan Royals have managed to post a mammoth total of 217 for 5 on the scoreboard in their quota of 20 overs. Jos Buttler played a memorable innings of 103 runs while Sanju Samson scored 38 runs off 19 balls. Towards the end, Shimron Hetmyer smashed yet another crucial unbeaten cameo of 26 runs off just 13 deliveries.
