Most Ducks in IPL: Over the years, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed one of the best batsmen entertaining the fans all across the globe. However, it is also the poor form of a batsman that hurts any team the most. In the ongoing 5th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 season, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s newest recruit Nicholas Pooran did not had the best of starts in the IPL 2022 season as he got dismissed for a 9-ball duck. This was Pooran’s fifth duck in the last 12 IPL innings. The swashbuckling West Indies batsman has registered a total of six ducks since 2020 in the Indian Premier League. The big-hitting southpaw was bought for a hefty amount of INR 10.75 Crore during the IPL 2022 mega auction by the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
While talking about the history of the Indian Premier League, Harbhajan Singh hold the record of registering the most number of ducks which is 13. The likes of Harbhajan, Parthiv Patel, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma have as many as 13 ducks in the history of the IPL so far.

SRH vs RR, IPL 2022 Live Score
Even after losing the toss and being put in to bat first, the Rajasthan Royals posted a mammoth first innings total of 210 for 6 in their quota of 20 overs. RR skipper Sanju Samson led his side from the front with a superb knock of 55 runs off just 27 balls while Devdutt Padikkal also contributed with a crucial innings of 41 runs off 29 deliveries.

In reply, the Rajasthan Royals bowlers put up an excellent show with the ball to restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad at 149 for 7 in 20 overs. Aiden Markram remained unbeaten till the end with 57 not out but SRH did not get any sort of momentum in the run-chase as they conceded a convincing 61-run defeat. For the Rajasthan Royals, Yuzvendra Chahal finished with three wickets while Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna also took two scalps each.
