MI vs SRH IPL : Defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 9th match of Indian Premier League 2021 at MA Chidambaram in Chennai on Saturday, 17 April. Mumbai Indians have one win from two matches while Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost both their matches so far.
MI vs SRH Stats Preview
Mumbai Indians opened their win account in a low scoring thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders in the last match. Their top order batsmen Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav are among runs but lower order has been silent so far and the duo of Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard need to get back their old touch as soon as possible. In bowling Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult, Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar were impressive in last match and young Marco Jansen too has been impressive.
On the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad must be disappointed that they lost both their matches from winning positions especially the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore where they collapsed in the end. Their lower order batsmen need to do much better, Manish Pandey needs to work on strike rotation and Kane Williamson should be picked on these slow surfaces of Chennai. In bowling their pacers came good in the last match and spinner Rashid Khan has been excellent so far.
