For the Punjab Kings, England’s explosive batsman Liam Livingstone has been in a tremendous form especially during the previous two games where he smashed excellent back-to-back half-centuries. However, Mumbai Indians pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah dismissed the in-form Livingstone with a sensational yorker delivery in the 15th over of the match. Bumrah produced a jaffa of a delivery to send back the Englishmen for just 2 off 3 balls.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first on a belter of a track, the Punjab Kings got off to an incredible start at the top courtesy both their openers, skipper Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan taking the attack against the Mumbai bowlers. The duo added a brilliant partnership of 97 runs in just 9.2 overs before Mayank got out for an excellent 52 off 32 deliveries.
Shikhar also played a wonderful innings of 70 runs off 50 balls that consisted of 5 fours and 3 sixes. For the Punjab Kings, both the overseas players, Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow got out early, however, they have still managed to post a massive total of 198 for 5 in their quota of 20 overs. Basil Thampi picked up two wickets for the Mumbai Indians while the trio of Bumrah, Unadkat and Murugan Ashwin finished with a wicket each.
