CSK did not had the best of starts as they lost their opening match against Gujarat Titans.

After having won the toss and opting to bowl first, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni revealed that Moeen Ali is not part of the CSK Playing 11 in this MI vs CSK IPL 2023 match on Saturday. Dhoni stated that the England all-rounder is not completely fit for this match and thus, he was unavailable for selection. Incidentally, Moeen bowled amazing well during the last victory against Lucknow Super Giants where he picked up a total of four wickets and gave away just 26 runs in his four overs. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings have made three changes as the trio of Ajinkya Rahane, Dwaine Pretorius and Sisanda Magala have been included in the side.

“We will bowl first. Think one of the most memorable venues not only the 2011 win but when we won in 2007, when we came back the reception we got was great. Generally got pace and bounce, you can play your shots We have a few injury concerns, Stokes has an injury, Mo is not available. Ajinkya and Pretorius are playing.
