MI Playing 11: Mumbai Indians! What a disastrous season it has been for the most successful franchise in IPL history. They succumbed to their 9th loss of the season the other night against KKR by 52 runs and now they will march to their home turf i.e., Wankhede Stadium on Thursday to take their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings.
CSK vs MI, Match 59 of IPL 2022 Team News
Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings is the El-Classico of IPL. Whenever these two teams collide the intensity is always on a different level altogether. CSK managed to thump MI in the reverse fixture courtesy of the last over heroics from MS Dhoni and now with CSK still stand a chance of entering the playoffs, it would be tough for Rohit Sharma & Co to contain the brute force of CSK led by MS Dhoni.

Suryakumar Yadav is no longer available for the rest of the season. On the eve of MI’s game against KKR, Rohit Sharma & Co. bumped into an unfathomable news regarding Suryakumar Yadav. The dashing right-hand batter has suffered a left forearm muscle injury and has been ruled out of the competition. Yadav was replaced by Ramandeep Singh in the eleven against KKR who batted at No 4.
MI and their love affair with Kieron Pollard. Kieron Pollard has been nowhere near his best and MI courtesy of their love affair with the big West Indian has not dropped him for a single game. Pollard has been short of runs, his strike rate is pretty low and with the ball, he is nothing short of a miser this season. Despite his poor form, MI is backing him and it won’t be a surprise if he retains his spot in the eleven for this game.
