Shimron Hetmyer LSG vs RR IPL 2022: In an important development, Rajasthan Royals (RR) star overseas batsman Shimron Hetmyer is not playing the today Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The Rajasthan Royals are yet to seal a spot in the IPL 2022 playoffs and have two matches remaining in the league stage of the competition. RR have managed to win 7 out of their 12 matches in the ongoing T20 season.

Shimron Hetmyer continues to be unavailable for selection in the Rajasthan Royals playing 11 for the second game in a row. The West Indian left-handed batsman left the RR bio-bubble after the victory against Punjab Kings in order to travel back to Guyana for the birth of his first child.

“We are batting first. That’s been our strength. Couple of changes – Neesham and McCoy Rassie and Sen. Feel that’s the best combination for this game. It’s important to keep a balanced state of mind,” said Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson during the toss.
