LSG vs CSK: In a massive breaking news, Moeen Ali is playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their second match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The England spin bowling all-rounder arrived late for the cash-rich T20 league due to some delay in visa issues after which he had to miss the tournament opener for CSK. However, he has now completed his mandatory isolation period and available for the rest of the competition.

The big update is that Moeen Ali returns to the Chennai Super Kings playing 11 in place of left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner against Lucknow Super Giants in this Match 7 of the IPL 2022 season. Also, the Ravindra Jadeja-led CSK team is playing with just three foreign players, Moeen, Dwaine Pretorius and Dwayne Bravo while right-arm speedster Adam Milne misses out due to a side strain.
