2. JM Brearley – 29.80
John Michael Brearley was the former cricketer, who played 39 Test matches for England between 1976 to 1981. He is second on the list of Lowest strike rate in test with a strike rate of mere 29.80. In his career spanning 9 years he scored 1442 runs at an average of 22.89.
3. CJ Tavare – 30.60
Chris Tavare, a former English batter, was known as the ultimate blocker of the ball as his ability to hang on the crease frustrated many teams. He sits third on the list of Lowest strike rate in test. In total of 31 Test he played for England, he scored 1755 runs at an average of 31.50.

Jason Gillespie from Australia is fourth on the list of Lowest strike rate in test. Everyone might be knowing him for his bowling prowess but he was no mug with the bat as well. 5. J Dyson – 33.1
Former Australian opener J Dayson is fifth in the list of Lowest strike rate in test. The right-hander represented Australia in 30 Test matches and in those matches he scored 1359 runs at an average of 26.6. He had a career strike rate of 33.1 which is fifth lowest.
