Legends League Cricket 2022: In a big breaking news, the scheduled for the ongoing inaugural edition of the Legends League Cricket 2022 has been changed a bit due to injury concerns in one of the three teams. The first round of the Legends Cricket T20 tournament that comprised of three matches between the India Maharajas, World Giants and the Asia Lions were hosted successfully at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman with the spectators from across the globe enjoying to see some of the legendary cricketing names action.

Legends League Cricket 2022 Schedule Changed?

The CEO & Co-Founder of Legends League Cricket, Raman Raheja, mentioned that the tournament’s schedule has been changed after the advice from league’s medical team and the Apex Council post evaluating the player injuries relating to a particular team. It is also understood that the particular team was unable to field a full-fledged team on 26 January, the date which was originally supposed to host the game between India Maharajas and World Giants.

According to the updated schedule, the World Giants will now face the Asia Lions on 26 January, 2022 at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman while the India Maharajas and World Giants will lock horns in the final league game of the competition on 27 January. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on 29 January.

Legends Cricket T20 To be played behind closed doors

While considering the recent surge in Covid-19 cases in Oman, it was earlier announced that the remainder of the legends T20 tournament will be played behind closed doors and thus, the spectators will not be present at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman. However, the fans around the world can watch the Legends Cricket T20 matches on the Sony Pictures Sports Network and the live streaming is also available on the Sony LIV app.
