Defending champions Multan Sultans are unbeaten in the tournament so far and are sitting atop the league standings with six wins in six outings. Led by Mohd Rizwan, Sultans registered 42 runs win over Peshawar Zalmi in the previous encounter and will be aiming to continue their unbeaten streak.

This will be the second time both teams will face each other in the ongoing season. The Sultans registered 7 wickets win when both teams met earlier in Karachi.
