KXIP vs DC, IPL 2020: Rishabh Pant all set to return

The swashbuckling wicket-keeping southpaw Rishabh Pant might play the game against Kings XI after having missed 3 games on the trot due to a grade 1 tear. Delhi Capitals have been the most dominant team in this year’s IPL and their position in the points table reflects that.
They are at the top of the table with 7 wins from 9 games and are all set to make the playoffs unless some miracle happens. Shreyas Iyer has led the team brilliantly so far and they would not want to lose their winning momentum in the fag end of the tournament.

A big boost in the form of Rishabh Pant for DC
Rishabh Pant has been the destructive Indian batsman in the last 3 years of IPL. He has been a force to reckon with in the middle overs and his records speak for himself. In one of the league games against Rajasthan Royals, Rishabh Pant was seen limping and what was believed to be a hamstring injury turned into a grade 1 tear. A source confirmed that,
He has a grade 1 tear and it is just not a hamstring pull as was believed to be. He is under observation and we are hoping he gets fit quickly
Now, the time has arrived for Rishabh Pant to make a comeback and As per ANI, a DC source confirmed that,
He has been working closely with the physio and trainer and has completed sessions without any trouble and is fit. A final call is expected to be taken before the toss but Pant is likely to play against Punjab
Can DC seal the deal against KXIP?
DC will be locking horns with one of the in-form teams in the competition in KL Rahul led KXIP who have found the winning combination in their last two games.
When these two teams faced each other in the first leg, Delhi Capitals won the game in super over. KXIP will be waiting to avenge their loss which they suffered in their previous meeting.
