Lehmann sees Kohli-Paine banter as fun
The confrontation between Virat and Australia captain Tim Paine during the Perth Test made plenty of headlines but Lehmann feels there shouldn’t be any drama about what happened in Perth.
He stated that it was good to see out there and he thinks it was good banter.
He noted that neither Kohli nor Tim Paine crossed the line. According to the former Aussie coach, it was good banter, and it came across as a bit of fun on the stump mics.
At the same time, he noted that you just have to make sure it is never personal and play the game in right spirit. Rest, Langer believes they will sort it out after the game or after the series.

The former Aussie coach also appreciated Tim Paine. He said that Paine has been an excellent captain so far. He noted that Paine came out to be the leader for Australian cricket in a tough time and has done everything right, very much so. He doesn’t think anyone can have any criticism with Paine’s leadership.
Meanwhile, after winning the Perth Test, Australia have leveled the series and the third Test will begin from December 26th at Melbourne.
