The multi talented utility player of Indian limited overs setup Lokesh Rahul has once again adopted to have a live question and answers session with his beloved twitter fans. This is a popular way of spending quality time during this quarantine period. All the international sports personalities have got to find a way to engage with fans as well as fight their boredom and this question answer session is a perfect blend of both.
Rahul remembers his former IPL franchise
This kind of question answer session is where fans are eager to get much awaited answers from their idols. Many fans consider themselves lucky when their questions are answered. One such Twitter follower of newly appointed Indian limited overs wicket keeper batsman asked about his favourite IPL team. And the question was very specific as to what team KL Rahul favours other than his present Kings xi Punjab team. Of course, Rahul is the captain of the kings xi Punjab franchise but didn’t get a chance to make his mark as a captain as IPL is all but gone for 2020.
The dashing T20 opener KL Rahul picked his former franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore as his favourite apart from kings xi Punjab. Rahul flourished as an opener alongside Chris Gayle in a few outings under Virat Kohli. Also Bangalore is his hometown and he plays all his domestic cricket right from childhood at the Chinnaswamy. So it comes as not a big surprise.

Rahul’s picks his former IPL mate as his favorite batsman
One another follower of KL Rahul asked about his all time favourite batsman. Most cricketers would ideally pick their childhood hero who inspired them to pickup a cricket bat or the norm is to generally choose a fellow countrymen as a favourite Batsman. But the influence of one modern day legend of the game AB De Villiers was the choice of Rahul. AB’s record across all forms of the game is simply stunning and also he’s a kind of a makeshift wicketkeeper batsman much like KL Rahul himself.
I think it is got to be @ABdeVilliers17 https://t.co/tIZuSPos5A
