KKR once again left out newest recruit Johnson Charles in their playing XI for this KKR vs RR match on Thursday. The big-hitting West Indies batsman is not even part of the five substitute members out of which one can come in as an Impact Player at any moment in the match. Interestingly, Charles was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders as a replacement player for Litton Das who returned home due to some emergency midway through the tournament. He has already joined the KKR camp and it remains to be seen when will the team management give him an opportunity. The Kolkata Knight Riders are currently opening the batting with the overseas duo of Jason Roy and Rahmanullah Gurbaz.

“I think we’re getting the type of pitches we want. We will have to play good cricket, take one game at a time and earn 2 points. One change for us – Anukul Roy replaces Vaibhav Arora.
