KKR vs CSK IPL 2021: After recording two brilliant back-to-back wins in their last 2 games, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are now facing the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The MS Dhoni-led CSK team are currently placed at the third position on the points table with two wins against Punjab and Rajasthan after having lost their opening game to Delhi Capitals. KKR captain Eoin Morgan has won the toss and opted to bowl first on a belter of a Wankhede wicket.
KKR vs CSK IPL 2021: Lungi Ngidi or Dwayne Bravo?
CSK captain MS Dhoni mentioned that they have made just one change to their winning combination from the previous game which is why South African speedster Lungi Ngidi has come in for Dwayne Bravo. Dhoni also clearly stated that they have rested Bravo for this game while Ngidi will certainly be a useful pace option on this quick Wankhede pitch as he can extract some good bounce from it.

“Looks similar (to the previous games). But will be tacky and we have to be watchful in the first few overs, see how the wicket behaves and accordingly put a total on the board. It was a very good performance. There was less dew which meant the spinners could bowl freely. We have to keep our eyes open on how much dew is there and plan accordingly. If we get too much dew then the lengths are quite different. It is more of a fact that the drier ball turns more than a wetter ball. It is something that has helped me, it helped me during the 2013 Champions Trophy, change of ball and we got a couple of wickets. We have one change; we have rested Bravo for this game and Ngidi comes in,” said CSK captain MS Dhoni at the toss.
