In the fourth and the latest match of the series, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard slammed three massive sixes consecutively off the bowling of South Africa’s premier pacer Kagiso Rabada.

West Indies levels the series against South Africa

Coming into bat at number six, he scored 51 runs from just 25 balls thereby helping his team recover from a huge batting collapse. Kieron Pollard sends Rabada to the orbit

Pollard’s quickfire fifty consisted of 5 massive sixes and 2 boundaries. Out of those 5 sixes, all three came in just one over when he decided to take on Protea’s spearhead Kagiso Rabada.

The monstrous hitting happened in the 19^th over of the match. Rabada, who had figures of 1-11 from the two overs that he bowled beforehand, lost his length and bowled a full toss to start his third over. Pollard swiveled it over short fine leg for a flat-six. He followed it up with another six over the deep mid-wicket region, which was once again a juicy full toss from Rabada. Understanding his mistake, he corrected his length and bowled a nasty bouncer for his third delivery. But it was not enough for the Windies captain who muscled it over deep backward square leg for yet another six, thereby completing a hattrick of sixes against one of the world’s best death bowlers.
