Kieron Pollard is one of the most powerful strikers of the cricket ball. Pollard’s stunning batting ensured Mumbai Indians were able to finish at a decent total despite a wobble in the middle overs.

On the first ball of the seventeenth over, SRH bowler Mujeeb Ur Rehman made the mistake of feeding a short delivery on the off stump. Pollard who had faced eight balls until then, had his eye set in and hence decided to take a toll of the chance.
Pollard rocked back and muscled the ball over the deep mid-wicket fence. He had packed so much power in that pull that the ball traveled 105 meters.

Pollard’s finishing touch lifts Mumbai to 150
Mumbai Indians got off to a good start against SRH. Skipper R Sharma’s quick-fire knock of 32 runs off 25 balls enabled Mumbai to get 55 runs in 6.3 overs. But then, SRH pulled back the strings to choke MI’s middle order. It seemed as MI would end up with a below par score, but Pollard drilled two sixes on the last two balls of the innings to lift the score to 150.
Pollard remained not out on 35 runs off 22 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes.
