Kedar Jadhav Reveals His Favourite Cricketers

Chennai Super Kings Instagram Live session’s next member was India and CSK’s middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav who got up and close to reveal his idols and favorite players.

Kedar Jadhav was all praised for MS Dhoni

In the session, Jadhav revealed the utmost support and backing he got from the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. He started by naming his idol and ended up praising the former skipper;

“Growing up Sachin (Tendulkar) was my idol like every aspiring cricketer. I regret I could not play with him. But when it comes to favourite cricketer, it has to be Dhoni,”

He further added,

“When I met Mahi Bhai I thought he is India’s captain and he would be very strict. After meeting him, I don’t see any other image when it comes to favorite cricketer.”

Jadhav is a big fan of Salman Khan

In the live session, Kedar Jadhav also named his favorite Bollywood superstar and it was none other than Salman Khan. However, the middle-order batsman got in a fix when asked to choose between MS Dhoni and Salman Khan.

“Because of MS Dhoni I got to play however many matches I played and also because of Mahi bhai I got to meet Salman Khan. So I can’t pick between the two. It’s like asking to choose between Mum and Dad,”

Ever since playing International cricket, he has been in news for his unorthodox bowling action. When asked about his bowling style and the controversies related to his action, he said;

“I tried it at the nets. That time Anil (Kumble) bhai was the coach and he said no it’s legal. Then in the 1st ODI, I got Jimmy Neesham out (caught and bowled). “That was my first wicket and then Mahi bhai gave me the confidence that I can bowl. I had not bowled much in domestic cricket also. But it was because of him that I got confidence.”
