Chairman of selectors’ U-turn on Jadhav’s issue
Jadhav was dropped from the original squad that was selected for the remaining three ODIs against Windies. This was after Jadhav proved his fitness by featuring in the Deodhar trophy match.
At that time, MK Prasad, the chairman of selectors stated that Jadhav was dropped due to fitness issues. He had also noted that there have been occasions earlier when he has come back fit and then broke down, a case in point being the Asia Cup last month.
MSK Prasad said last night that Kedar Jadhav wasn't picked for third ODI because of his 'fitness history.' What has he seen in the next 20 hours then to decide he can be drafted into the squad for the 4th and 5th ODIs? Absurd.

However, on the very next day, BCCI has roped in the right-hand batsman in India’s squad for the remaining two ODIs. when asked about this, the chairman of selectors said that the middle-order batsman has demonstrated his fitness in the Deodhar game.

He regained his fitness and joined the team for the Asia Cup but in the finals against Bangladesh, he got injured again and infact had to leave the field in between his innings.
After spending some time in the NCA, the middle-order batsman is once again back in the action and featured in the Deodhar Trophy match.
Jadhav speaks about the rehab at NCA
After the Deodhar Trophy match, the Indian batsman had explained the rehab procedure at NCA. He stated that the selectors pick you only if you clear all the tests at NCA and you are completely fine.
