Indian pacer – Jasprit Bumrah who is currently with the Indian side on the tour of New Zealand, takes a dig at the IPL rivals Royal Challengers Bangalore.
What did Jasprit Bumrah do?
Indian Premier League side Royal Challengers Bangalore released their new logo ahead of the new season. But, the Indian fast-bowler – who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL didn’t miss the chance to troll the rival with his cheeky comment on a twitter post.
The three-time finalists finally revealed their new logo via their social accounts after days of speculation. The Bangalore-based outfit took everyone by surprise by taking down their profile pictures and posts from their social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
It was speculated since then the franchise is going to change their name to Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, it didn’t happen and the franchise only changed their logo.
Social media was quick to react towards the new logo but Bumrah spearheaded the people who were trolling the Virat Kohli-led side. The Indian bowler posted a funny comment while comparing the logo to his bowling action.
“Cool logo. Looks like my bowling action as well,” replied Bumrah on the social media post.
after all this hype only a logo change didn’t go well with Twitterati and they trolled RCB mercilessly.

What’s next for RCB and Bumrah?
Earned themselves a tag of perennial underachievers in the IPL despite having a dearth of superstars in their ranks, RCB will finally try to win the trophy which has been eluding them for 12 years. RCB have made it to the final 3 times but haven’t been able to lift the coveted IPL trophy yet and they would hope that the change in the logo would bring a change in their fortunes this season.
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah will be gearing to face Kiwis in the first test match on the 21st February. The 27-year-old bowler would be looking to silence his critics after tough ODI series where he failed to take a single wicket.
