The task ahead
There is no doubt that the Asia Cup will be challenging and many bowlers will be trying to make their way into the top 10 and top 3. Pakistan’s Hasan Ali will be trying to move up from the third place that he is to the first spot.
The #AsiaCup will give players and teams the opportunity to rise in the @MRFWorldwide Rankings, while they hope to use the tournament as preparation for #CWC19 next year.

Even the batsmen aren’t far behind as Pakistan’s Babar Azam will try to close the gap between him and the current #1 ICC ODI batsman, Virat Kohli. Babar is currently on the #2 spot with 825 points under Kohli who sits at #1 with 911 points.
Babar had commented that he knows Virat is way ahead in rating points but this tournament will be a good way for him to gain some more points to reach Virat who isn’t playing in this tournament.
