James Faulkner out of PSL 2022: In an important update, Quetta Gladiators all-rounder James Faulkner has pulled out of the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 2022 due to contractual and payment issues. The Quetta Gladiators are currently languishing at the fifth spot on the points table having suffered as many as 5 losses and won a total of 3 games so far in this edition of Pakistan Super League T20. In the PSL 2022 today match, the Lahore Qalandars will be going up against the Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

In a big blow for the Quetta Gladiators, James Faulkner will not be available for the rest of the tournament with immediate effect. Surprisingly, Faulkner has come up with some serious allegations blaming Pakistan Super League and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not honouring his contractual as well as financial obligations. The Aussie cricketer took to Twitter in order announce an official apology to the Pakistan cricket fans while revealing that he has withdrawn from the remainder of PSL 2022.

“I apologise to the Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately I’ve had to withdraw from the last 2 matches and leave the PSLt20 due to the PCB not honouring my contractual agreement/payments. I’ve been here the whole duration and they have continued to lie to me” wrote James Faulkner on Twitter.

“It hurts to leave as I wanted to help to get international cricket back in Pakistan as there is so much young talent and the fans are amazing. But the treatment I have received has been a disgrace from the PCB and PSLt20. I’m sure you all understand my position” he added.
