Reportedly, Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Reeva Solanki was assaulted by a police constable in Jamnagar, Gujarat on Monday.
The incident took place in the evening when Reeva’s car met with a minor accident with a constable, Sanjay Kurangiya, who was riding on a two-wheeler and coming from the wrong side.
The constable has been taken into police custody for now.
Reports from India TV suggest that Jadeja’s wife was attacked by Sanjay soon after the accident. He also pulled her hair before slapping her twice.
When the things started to get out of control, the people rushed to rescue her and immediately she was taken to the hospital.
“The officer pulled her hair and slapped her twice. He also attempted to smash her face on the windshield. The police constable was coming from the wrong side on a Pulsar bike and he fell after hitting Solanki’s BMW,” quoted an eyewitness.
“Reeva rolled down her window and was about to confirm if the constable was alright. Before she could ask anything, the enraged cop immediately lashed out and assaulted her,” he added.
