Team India arrived in England on June 3rd after serving a 14 day quarantine in Mumbai. The players were not allowed to meet each other for three days in Southampton as per COVID-19 protocols as well. However, Virat Kohli and his men are now back on the pitch training, as they look to claim the first ever WTC Title.
Meanwhile, New Zealand are currently contesting against hosts England in the first Test of the two-match series.
The Kiwis might have the edge considering that they will much more aware of the conditions and will have the right amount of “match practice” before the much awaited finals.
The second Test between New Zealand and England will take place at Edgbaston, Birmingham from June 10.
