The Delhi Capitals team played the finals against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2020, but could not lift the trophy. This year, even with the absence of Shreyas Iyer, the team is looking strong in the batting department. At the top-order, Shaw and Dhawan are in terrific form, while Pant and Stoinis performed well in the last game. The inclusion of uncapped player Lalit Yadav was questioned, but he has been terrific with his range of shots in the death overs.

The bowling attack of DC has been exemplary for the past 2 years. The South African speedsters Rabada and Nortje helped the team to reach the finals of the tournament. Along with Ashwin and Amit Mishra, Avesh Khan and Lukman Meriwala are other Indian bowlers who have featured for the DC team this year. Although Avesh impressed in the 1st match, his performance went down in 2nd league match and Meriwala gave away too many runs in the DC last league match.
The experienced pacer Ishant Sharma was facing a niggle and now he is ready to play for the Delhi Capitals team in IPL 2020. The source of DC management spoke to ANI about the pacer’s injury update.
“He was struggling with a heel niggle, but he is good to go now. Had to take it slow and easy as we have a long road ahead of us and he is an integral part of the bowling attack,” the source told ANI.
