IRE vs SA 2nd T20I: Possible Playing 11 of Ireland

IRE Playing 11: Ireland and South Africa now move to Belfast for the second T20I of the series. After having an impressive ODI series, Ireland succumbed to a big loss in the first T20I. They started well with the ball restricting SA to 165 but a poor batting effort left them short of the target. They have some dangerous T20 players like Paul Stirling at the top and need him to fire. With series on the line and T20 World Cup approaching, the players will have a point to prove.
Team News
- Ireland could include legspinner Benjamin White in place of Shane Getkate. An extra spin option will be ideal for them as T20 World Cup will take place in spin-friendly conditions and this will be a good testing experience for him.

This hasn’t been the best series for Paul Stirling so far. As a senior batsman, he will look to make a mark here and give Ireland a good start. Skipper Balbirnie is in good form while middle order will look to be more consistent to stop any batting collapse. The bowlers were impressive early on in the last match but allowed SA to get away. Simi Singh was excellent with his offbreaks while Josh Little was excellent at the death.
