IPL Suspended: The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) has reportedly decided to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the time being. There’s no official statement yet on the rescheduling, or if, the tournament is suspended for the whole season, but reports indicate that the cash-rich tournament may be shifted entirely to Mumbai for the remaining matches provided BCCI gets clearance from the government.
There are also reports that BCCI is mulling over a 7-day period to rejig its schedule to fight the Covid-19. A solitary venue, Mumbai in this case, has been tossed over as a possible solution.
