IPL Predictions: In the last season, KL Rahul emerged as the leading run-scorer with 670 runs and Kagiso Rabada won the purple cap with 30 wickets. We have made a list of players who can be the leading run-scorers and leading wicket-takers.
IPL 2021 Predictions
Most Runs in IPL 2021:
David Warner: The star of IPL, Warner will be pumped up to go out there and score big runs on the board for his team. He has been the holder of the orange cap for two years and will be eager to get it once again. He will open for SRH.
KL Rahul: The last year orange cap holder, will look to get his instincts the same way, as he did in UAE. He will open for the team and will captain as well.
Virat Kohli: The run-master will be set to score some big runs this year. He’ll be eager to get out there and take his through the line, which he has been waiting for many years.
Most Wickets in IPL 2021:
Kagiso Rabada– The Delhi pacer will be the front-runner to the purple cap, as he won it in IPL 2020.
Anrich Nortje- The team-mate of Rabada from Delhi, will be also in the race to win the purple cap. The pacer, who came to the team last year, as a replacement, bowled really well and will be expected to go the same this year.
Shardul Thakur– The Indian young pacer, is all set to shine in this year’s IPL. He has been a top performer for India in the recently concluded series, he can take on the purple cap, under MSD.

This will be a very exciting IPL league stage, as all the teams have talented squad strength. The probables for the front-runners would be:
MI: This is an absolute star-studded and talented team, they have numerous players across every department, who can replace the best and perform in the same way. The defending champions will look to go for a hattrick.
DC: The runners-up last year, will look to finish up as champions this year. They have an extraordinary team with youngsters, as well as experienced players like- Dhawan, Smith & Amit Mishra, who can turn the game on their side on any bad team day.
SRH: This is a very underrated team, and people only see the top two players; as a whole, but they have an exciting squad this year, with Roy coming in, they will have an extra batting option at the top. Their bowling is one of the best, they have a number of star bowlers.
KKR/PBKS: The team with a lot of overseas talents, their fate depends on their overseas players. For Punjab, Gayle, and Pooran in the batting and new stars from BBL, Jhye, Meredith, and Jordan will have to take charge. Same with Kolkata, where Cummins, Morgan, and Russell have to take charge for them to reach the top 4.
The Mumbai Indians is the strongest team among the lot and have the players who are coming into this tournament after a good run in the international circuit and are touted to be the champion this season.
