IPL Mega Auction 2022: This India Under-19 Star to bag IPL contract, predicts R Ashwin

The Indian U19 team have been a successful side for the last 2 months in the international cricket. In December 2021, the team lifted the Asia Cup Title with their impressive all round performances. Then, they have reached the semi finals of U19 World Cup. One of the key contributors to this team has been the fast bowler Rajvardhan Hangarekar.

The experienced off spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin has been quite vocal about his thoughts on the international matches, controversies and debates. He posted a video of India U19 Talents to watch out in IPL Mega Auction, and spoke about the fast bowler, who he expects to get good amount of interest from the franchises.

“This player will certainly be picked at the IPL auction. Which franchise I cannot predict, but he will surely be purchased. His name is Rajvardhan Hangargekar.

“He is a right-arm medium pacer, who can bowl the inswinger very well. Ishant Sharma is the only one who has the gift among present Indian right-arm pacers. Inswing can usually tuck in batters, which is why I feel he will be in demand.”

“He is also a strong lower middle-order hitter. The power he generates when he hits the ball is incredible. He should attract at least 5-10 bids. Make sure to watch him out,” Ashwin concluded.

The Indian U19 captain has been consistent with his contribution for the past 2 months and can find place in any of the teams to solidify their middle order.
