1. Lasith Malinga
Former Mumbai Indians pacer Lasith Malinga is first on the list of IPL best bowler. The Sri Lanka pacer has been one of the stalwarts that have played in the Indian Premier League. The right-arm pacer has been an integral part of Mumbai Indians ever since the league started in 2008 and has played a vital role in their record five-time title triumph. He played 122 matches in IPL and have taken 170 wickets at an average and economy rate of 19.8 and 7.14 respectively to go with the best bowling figures of 5/13.
2. Amit Mishra
Veteran Indian off-spinner Amit Mishra has taken second most wickets in the IPL so far and hence he sits second on the list of IPL best bowler. Playing for Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, the leg-spinner has so far scalped 166 wickets at an average and economy rate of 23.97 and 7.35. He also holds the unique record of taking most hat-tricks (3) in the league. He achieved the feat against Deccan Chargers, Punjab Kings, and Pune Warriors India.

3. Piyush Chawla
Amit Mishra’s counterpart in IPL, Piyush Chawla is the third IPL best bowler. Having won IPL titles with Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, the leg-spinner has bagged 156 wickets in 164 matches so far in the marquee tournament at an average and economy of 27.32 and 7.87 respectively. Apart from his bowling heroics, he’s known for the short innings that he played in the IPL 2014 final against PBKS to take KKR home and win the title.

4. Dwayne Bravo
Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has had some success in the Indian Premier League. His all-round skills have set the tournament on fire. Starting his career with Mumbai Indians, the 38-year-old then became an integral part of the Chennai Super Kings and played a major role in their four title wins. His ability to take wickets on the slower ball has had him huge success and hence he is fourth on the list of IPL best bowler. In a total of 144 matches, the all-rounder has bagged 156 wickets at an average and economy of 24.88 and 8.38 respectively.
5. Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan Singh is fifth on the list of IPL best bowler. The former Indian spinner now has called time on his career but he played 163 matches in the marquee tournament. In those matches, the Punjab-born spinner, who represented Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, took 150 wickets in the cash-rich league at an average and economy of 26.87 and 7.07 respectively.
