Players Delhi Capitals can Target in the IPL 2021 Auction
Matthew Wade
The squash-buckling wicket-keeper batsman from Australia can be one of the best picks for the DC due to his experience and capabilities in the shortest format. Ahead of the auction, Alex Carey was released by the franchise, and Wade might prove to be a good back-up for Rishabh Pant. Wade was impressive against the Indian team a few months back in the T20 format and emerged as the leading run-scorer with 145 runs in 3 matches.
Ankit Rajpoot
The UP speedster has a good experience of playing in the IPL as well as in the domestic circuit. With a natural swing with the new ball, he can contain the opposition batsmen in the death overs with his pace and accuracy. In 82 T20s, he has picked up 101 wickets and can be lethal in crucial situations for the team. If the team chooses to play only 1 from Rabada and Nortje in the Playing XI, he can be a good addition to the squad.
K Devdhar
The experienced batsman has been the best performer for the last few years for Baroda in the domestic circuit. He can play alongside Shikhar Dhawan, which will help the team to get a right-left-handed combination at the top-order. With 2215 runs in 76 T20s, he has made sure the Baroda team gets off to a good start especially in the limited-overs format.

B Cutting
The Australian all-rounder has been one of the consistent players in giving a great finish to each team he represents in T20 franchise leagues. Along with good hitting capabilities, he can be a bowler who can introduce variations and pick key wickets. In 166 T20s, he has scored 2319 runs and has scalped 127 wickets. Along with Stoinis, he can provide good momentum to the team in the death overs.
K Jamieson
The New Zealand fast bowler is in terrific form with the bowl and has contributed in the batting department as well. In the series against West Indies, he picked up 11 wickets in 2 matches and was the leading wicket-taker with 16 wickets in the Test series against Pakistan. Although the team has good pacers, the addition of him into the squad would make the squad threatening in all the departments.
