SRH Squad 2023: Three players Sunrisers Hyderabad could target at the IPL Auction 2023

IPL Auction 2023: The 2023 IPL Auctions will be held on 23rd December at Kochi and all teams would be looking to get the most out of it to refurbish their squads. All teams are remaining with ample purse against their name, but it is the Sunrisers Hyderabad with the maximum purse of Rs. 42.25 Crore at the auction. Who will be the three players the Hyderabad franchise would be targeting at the IPL mini auction? Below are our predicted three names.

1. Mayank Agarwal

Former Punjab Kings skipper Mayank Agarwal must be eyeing a lucrative deal in this season. He wasn’t at his best in the last year’s competition and also sacrificed his place to Jonny Bairstow as an opener which resulted in a slump in his own form. Hyderabad could target the Indian International as the team needs at least one designated opener in their ranks. Therefore, Mayank Agarwal fetching a good amount to open for Sunrisers Hyderabad could be on the cards.

2. Ben Stokes

After releasing their mainstay over the years Kane Williamson, Sunrisers Hyderabad are on a lookout for a skipper, and who could be better than the English Test skipper Ben Stokes. Stokes is a valuable asset in the IPL over the years. He is an impact player with both bat and ball and now with his captaincy peaking at the right time, the all-rounder could get into this year’s IPL as a leader of any of the sides. With Sunrisers Hyderabad looking for a leader, Ben Stokes will surely be their target and might get into SRH squad 2023.
