A recent exchange between the current Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Gujarat Titans and their opener Shubman Gill has taken the internet by storm as many theories are coming up presuming Gill’s future with the franchise.
Titans’ official Twitter handle, on Saturday evening (September 17), suddenly posted a tweet, which read, “It’s been a journey to remember. We wish you all the best for your next endeavor, @ShubmanGill.”

The tweet was furthermore hashtagged as “Aava De,” the franchise’s tagline. The tweet undeniably sounded like a ‘goodbye’ one. And Gill too replied with a hug and heart emoji.

Shubman Gill to play for CSK?
This obviously turned on the twitterati and the cricketing world; the speculations of Gill, released by the Titans ahead of the IPL 2023, began to pour. Also, if Gill does not represent Titans in the IPL 2023, there were several assumptions made which stated, that the youngster may join Chennai Super Kings (CSK) where Robin Uthappa has just bided his farewell. Another suggestion was Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Gill’s previous team.

Gill’s IPL 2022 run with Titans
Gill, nonetheless, had more than decent runs with the Titans in the IPL 2022. He was a vital part of the Titans’ trophy-winning run and performed well with the bat.
