Nathan Coulter-Nile out of IPL 2022: In an important news development, Rajasthan Royals (RR) right-arm pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile has been ruled out for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. The Australian fast bowler sustained a side strain while bowling during the opening game for the Rajasthan Royals against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Coulter-Nile was bought by the Rajasthan Royals during the IPL 2022 mega auction for INR 2 Crore.

The Rajasthan Royals official Twitter handle have come up with an official announcement that Nathan Coulter-Nile will miss the entire IPL 2022 season due to the side strain. The lanky RR speedster did not had the best of performances with the ball in the opening game against Sunrisers Hyderabad as he conceded a total of 48 runs in his three overs after walking off the field. However, the Sanju Samson-led RR team won that match by a convincing margin of 61 runs. Coulter-Nile missed the last two matches for the Rajasthan Royals due to the injury.

The Rajasthan Royals have had an impressive start to their Indian Premier League 2022 campaign after winning two out of their three matches so far. RR registered brilliant victories against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians but then ended up losing their most recent match against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 wickets. Rajasthan Royals are now scheduled to face Lucknow Super Giants on 10 April at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
