Moeen Ali IPL: After a poor outing against Kolkata Knight Riders in their tournament opener, Chennai Super Kings are slated to lock horns with new franchise Lucknow Super Giants today (31st March). The match will be the seventh game of the IPL 2022 and will take place at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
LSG vs CSK: Moeen Ali to be available for the fixture against LSG
In what will be a massive boost for defending champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), English all-rounder Mooen Ali has completed his mandatory isolation and will be available for his side’s second game.
Ali arrived late in India due to visa issues. He failed to get the clearance for more than three weeks despite having been to India many times. He then arrived in the country on 24th March, following which he completed his isolation and missed the match against KKR.
After completing his 3-day quarantine, Mooen Ali joined CSK’s training session and had quality net sessions with the team. He’s likely to walk starlight into the playing XI and replace Kiwi all-rounder Mitchell Santner from the squad of last match.
LSG vs CSK: Probable CSK playing XI against Lucknow
Apart from Moeen Ali, CSK is likely to bring in U-19 star Rajvendra Hangargekar to the team in place of Tushar Deshpande. While the rest of the combination is expected to stay the same.
