IPL Mega Auction 2022: In a massive breaking news, the final player list for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction has been announced. A total of 590 players will go under the hammer that includes 370 Indian cricketers and 220 overseas players in an exciting event. It has already been officially confirmed that the IPL 2022 mega auction is scheduled to be held on 12 and 13 February in Bengaluru.

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League will witness as many as 228 capped players, 355 uncapped cricketers and 7 players from the Associate Nations will be participating in the upcoming IPL 2022 auction. It will be an exciting tussle between some of the biggest names of Indian cricket including the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan, Shikhar Dhawan, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar and many more.

All the 10 IPL teams, Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Team Ahmedabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be engaged in an interesting biding war for some key overseas players like Faf du Plessis, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Kagiso Rabada, Trent Boult, Quinton de Kock, Jonny Bairstow, Jason Holder, Dwayne Bravo, Shakib Al Hasan, Wanindu Hasaranga and many more.

IPL Auction 2022

In the upcoming Indian Premier League 2022 auction event, a total of 48 cricketers have set their base price as INR 2 crore while as many as 20 players have reserved their base price worth INR 1.5 crore. There are 34 players part of the final list with the base price of INR 1 crore.

The final IPL 2022 mega auction list also includes some of the rising stars from the current India Under 19 team namely Yash Dhull, Vicky Ostwal and Rajvardhan Hangargekar. The likes of Devdutt Padikkal, Harshal Patel, Shahrukh Khan, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Avesh Khan and many more such talented Indian cricketers will be looking forward to make an impact in the auction.
