DC vs PBKS Match Cancelled update: In a massive breaking news, yet another Delhi Capitals (DC) overseas player has tested positive for COVID-19 which has now put some serious clouds of threat on today Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) scheduled to take place at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier DC overseas all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, Patrick Farhart (team physio), Chetan Kumar (massage therapist), Abhijit Salvi (team doctor) and Akash Mane (social media member) returned positive tests between 15 to 18 April.

Due to this Covid outbreak, Match 32 of IPL 2022, DC vs PBKS was shifted to the Brabourne Stadium in Pune instead of the original venue being the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The big news is that one more Delhi Capitals overseas player has returned a positive COVID result on the Rapid Antigen Test and further testing is being done right now. However, according to a report mentioned by Sports Tak, the Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings IPL match will go as per the original schedule and both the teams are also on their way to the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

It is understood that Tim Seifert is the second overseas player from the Delhi Capitals camp to be infected by the virus after Mitchell Marsh. There are also some reports that suggest the possible COVID-19 breach happened in the Delhi Capitals camp after three of hotel staff members tested positive.
