IPL 2021 Released Players: The much awaited day among the fans is here. Today is the last day for the franchises to submit the list of retained players and it has stirred a lot of anticipation among the cricket lovers.

Chennai Super Kings Released Players 2021
The 3 time champions in Chennai Super Kings have released the legendary off-spinner in Harbhajan Singh ahead of IPL 2021. He played a vital role in CSK’s glorious years in 2018 and 2019. He wasn’t much effective in the 2018 season as CSK had to shit their base to Pune from Chennai where the wickets were not conducive to spin bowling.

Harbhajan Singh was able to pick only 7 wickets in 12 innings in 2018 but the spinner was magnificent in the 2019 season where he picked 16 wickets in 11 innings at an impressive economy rate of just above 7. He opted out of the recently concluded IPL season citing personal reasons. One has to wait and see whether he is willing to give his name in the IPL 2021 Auction.

Kedar Jadhav, Murali Vijay and Piyush Chawla and MonuKumar Singh have all been released as well.. Shane Watson wont be available as he has retired from all forms of cricket.

Delhi Capitals Released Players 2021
The runners-up of IPL 2020 are set to release Alex Carey, Jason roy and Sandeep Lamichhane ahead of IPL 2021. All the aforementioned guys didn’t play a major role and it is only fair that they release them. It is also learnt that the Indian pacers Mohit Sharma and Tushar Deshpande will be under the hammer this time around as he is being released by Delhi Capitals.

Daniel Sams is another player being traded by DC to RCB in an all cash deal. Daniel Sams came in as replacement to Jason Roy in the previous edition and he was disappointing to say the least. He didn’t seem to be of IPL level with the ball although he is an useful lower order six-hitter.

The Haryana all-rounder Harshal Patel is traded to RCB as well. He has been in the Delhi franchise for the last 3 years and is going to his former franchise where he has spent 5 years.

Kings XI Punjab Released Players 2021
They will go into the auction with highest purse as they have released majority of overseas players. Glenn Maxwell is one of them who was a terrible buy they have rightly released him.

Krishnappa Gowtham, Jimmy Neesham, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Sheldon Cottrell are among the others whom Kings XI have released.

Karun Nair, Jagadeesa Suchith, Tajinder Singh, and Hardus Viljoen have all been released as well.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Released Players 2021
SRH are one of the shrewd sides when it comes to signings. But it was hard to understand their move to release Fabian Allen who is one of the destructive six hitters in world cricket. He is yet to break big at the IPL stage but he is a future superstar which SRH might realize very soon.

Kolkata Knight Riders Released Players 2021
The English wicket-keeper Tom Banton was bought by KKR with huge anticipation in the last auction but Tom Banton didn’t utilize his opportunities that was presented to him in the previous season. KKR have decided to release Tom Banton ahead of IPL 2021.

KKR have decided to release bunch of their players as Chris Green, Nikhil Naik, Siddesh Lad and M Siddharth have all been released ahead of IPL 2021 auction. None of the aforementioned players were able to make an impact in the recently concluded IPL.

Mumbai Indians Released Players 2021
The defending champions have a gun team and they have a happy headache as they say as they have more than enough of quality options available.

Lasith Malinga who was instrumental in Mumbai Indians’s all the title triumphs is learnt to be released by the franchise ahead of the season. He has a stellar record for MI. He has 170 wickets in 122 innings at an ER of 7.14.

Shrefane Rutherford who was traded from Delhi Capitals prior to IPL 2020 is also being released by Mumbai Indians.

The likes of Nathan Coulter-Nile, Mitchell McClenaghan, James Pattinson from their squad.

Indian domestic players Deshmukh and Balwant Rai have been released as well.

Rajasthan Royals Released Players 2021
They endured a pathetic season where they finished at 8th place despite having 4 match-winners. Their captain had lion’s share in it and RR have decided to release Steve Smith ahead of IPL 2021. Sanju Samson has been named as the captain of the team.

They have also released the Caribbean speedster Oshane Thomas, Ankit Rajpoot, Varun Aaron, English all-rounder Tom Curran, Shashank Singh, Anirudh Joshi and Akash Singh from their squad.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Released Players 2021
A franchise with insane amount of fan base, RCB have made some shocking decisions as they have released one of the best death bowlers in the business in Chris Morris. They have also released Shivam Dube which has sent shocking waves amongst fans.
