Jofra Archer’s elbow issue has been affecting him badly since the South Africa series in January 2020. It has also come to notice that he injured his hand while cleaning his home just before coming to India to play test matches.
He underwent surgery on Monday to remove a glass fragment from his middle finger. These were the statement from the ECB’s director of cricket Ashley Giles regarding Jofra Archer.
“They’ve operated and I think they found a small fragment of glass still in attendance. It obviously healed but there was part of the fish tank still in his finger,” Giles said.
The Rajasthan Royals team would be hoping Jofra Archer would get as soon as possible and return to the field in IPL 2021.

In the Indian unit, Kartik Tyagi was impressive in the last season and along with him Jaydev Undadkat has been expensive in terms of economic rate but has good experience across all the formats.
In the overseas unit, the team has newly recruited Chris Morris who has been a part of the IPL for many years. While the other bowlers like Mustafizur Rahman and Andrew Tye have been good performers in the IPL as well.
