Jofra Archer ruled out of IPL 2021 due to an elbow injury
Rajasthan Royals have suffered a big blow in the upcoming season. Jofra has been ruled out of the season, as he has to undergo surgery on his right hand, which will most likely make him miss the entire season for the Rajasthan team. The right-arm speed-house had an issue with his right elbow and declared himself unfit for the subsequent ODI series in the sub-continent. The surgical procedure on Archer’s elbow is scheduled to happen on the 29th of March, so he could recover during the planned break following his elbow injection. Jofra is the main bowler of the team, and his unavailability will have to make Rajasthan look for a talented replacement in place of him.

Who can lead RR Bowling attack for RR in absence of Jofra Archer?
The absence of Jofra Archer will hit Rajasthan Royals hard as he emerged as the player of the tournament in IPL 2020. To fill his boots, the team surely has a mix of youngsters as well as experienced players.
In the Indian unit, Kartik Tyagi was impressive in the last season and along with him Jaydev Undadkat has been expensive in terms of economic rate but has good experience across all the formats.
In the overseas unit, the team has newly recruited Chris Morris who has been a part of the IPL for many years. While the other bowlers like Mustafizur Rahman and Andrew Tye have been good performers in the IPL as well.
